The Four Counties Classic (FCC)

 is a free gathering for all pre-1990 classic cars. The gatherings take place from 9am to noon on the first and third Saturdays of every month throughout the year at the Bletchingley Arms.

The event is a static gathering in the midst of some some wonderful driving roads though the scenic North Downs. When the weather is kind we often have as many as 130 cars in attendance. One reason for the success of the gathering is its geographical location close to the borders between four counties. We have regular members who come from Surrey, Greater London, Kent and Sussex. There are probably more classic cars in these four counties than anywhere else in the country - if not the world.

Following the sale of The Trooper last year and its purchase by an absent owner we moved our second Thursday meets to The Pub with No Name, or officially The White Horse at Priors Dean. It is tucked away down a farm track , very old and lots of character and attracts wheel nuts on both two and four wheels. It is about one mile north from The Trooper on the same road , but at the cross roads signed Priors Dean and Cider drive for about 400yds and the entrance track is on the right.  6pm onwards.

WINCHESTER VINTAGE BUS EVENTS

 SATURDAY/SUNDAY 10/11 SEPTEMBER 2022

Friends of King Alfred Buses (FoKAB) confirms its plans for the weekend of 10^th

Participation in Heritage Open Days has become an annual event for FoKAB and as last year will be spread over two days. On Saturday there will be a display of rare historic local buses and coaches. This will be at the Cattle Market car park in Worthy Lane, Winchester between 12:00 and 17:00 and will consist of up to 12 vehicles, ranging from 1931 to 1970. Free vintage bus journeys will operate half-hourly between Winchester Broadway and the Cattle Market.

On Sunday, there will be a vintage bus Running Day between 10:00 and 16:00 based on Winchester Broadway. It will feature all available vehicles from FoKAB's collection operating free vintage bus services over traditional King Alfred bus routes throughout the local area. There may also be some visiting vehicles representing other local Hampshire operators.

The iconic International Autojumble is back for 2022 . Join us on September 10^th and 11^th for the biggest outdoor sale of motoring items this side of the Atlantic.

This long-awaited weekend of automotive enjoyment will bring together all manner of motoring spares, automobilia and historic vehicles for sale, with hundreds of stands to browse in the busy event fields. As the old saying goes, "If you can't find it at Beaulieu it doesn't exist!"

An Annual Vintage Rally and Country Fair held second weekend in September in spectacular countryside and raising money for local charities

Organised by a committee of volunteers the event has run for over 30 years going from strength to strength and has become a well supported and famous part of the autumn calendar

The rally hosts a huge variety of country events including a large entry of vintage machinery and cars, digger skills, wild west shows, family dog show, dog scurry, ploughing and harvesting with vintage machinery, craft tent, car boot sale, many trade stalls, refreshment and beer tents etc

All cars over 30 years old may attend, and there are often as many as 50 cars at each event. It is supported by Barnaby's "popup" coffee shop, serving coffee, tea and yummy homemade cakes made by our friends at Bishops Waltham Country Market. Barnaby's will nominate a charity on the day, and all the proceeds will go to that charity.
