The FCC (Four Counties Classic) will continue to meet on the first and third Saturdays of every month in 2025:

The FCC (Four Counties Classic) is a free gathering for all pre-1990 classic cars.

The gatherings take place from 9am to noon on the first and third Saturdays of every month throughout the year at The Bletchingley Arms, 2 High St, Bletchingley, Surrey RH1 4PE

For those who need sustenance, The Bletchingley Arms serves breakfast between 9.30am and 10.30am.

The event is a static gathering in the midst of some wonderful driving roads though the scenic North Downs. When the weather was kind, prior to the lock-downs we often had as many as 130 cars in attendance. One reason for the success of the gathering is its geographical location close to the borders between four counties. We have regular members who come from Surrey, Greater London, Kent and Sussex. There are probably more classic cars in these four counties than anywhere else in the country (and therefore the world).

Helmingham Classic

10am – 4pm

HelminghamThe Festival of Classic and Sports Cars is one of the biggest events of our calendar. In 2025 we welcome over 1100 cars on display from classics to modern day sports cars, these display cars were split into three sections: General exhibitors (set by era), Car groups (we had over 40 superb car groups) and the Tollemache T110 (a special group who are displayed in front of Helmingham Hall). Main sponsors Bridge Classic Cars are on hand to showcase some of their cars and talk all things memberships, they also help in the judging of the prizes presented on the day for best era cars, best dressed, best car group and overall car of the show. Spectators also enjoy the famous driveway run, where a limited number of the exhibiting cars get to take a fast (or slow) drive down the main driveway to Helmingham Hall, Nick (me) will be on the mic to give a bit of entertainment during the run.

It's not all about cars, with some fantastic live music, food, drink, a market and our Grade I Listed gardens are open and entry is included in the ticket price.

It's a brilliant day out for everyone. Tickets, entries and more information will be released in early 2026.

Here's a video from this year's event. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yLV9HwV4VM

Classics @ Party on the Park – Sunday 30th August 2026

Based on Ilminster Cricket Club's pitch, close to the centre of this delightful Somerset town, Classics @ Party on the Park will be running in conjunction with Ilminster's great free music festival – Party on the Park. Come and join us for an ever-popular day of classic cars and music of all genres. There's no need to pre-book and entry is free (although we ask for a suggested minimum donation of £3 per car to help cover the costs) and all classic cars and motorcycles are welcome. Unfortunately, because we use the cricket pitch for the show, we're unable to accommodate commercial and agricultural vehicles at this show. For further details go to www.ilminsterexperience.co.uk.

Gosport Rotary's Vehicle Rally and Family Fun Day

will be held on Bank Holiday, Monday 31st August 2026, at Stokes Bay Field [PO12 2BL]

This year we are intending to use an Event Management System to book vehicles again. The link to the system will be: "vehiclesgvr.gosportrotaryclub.org"

The number of vehicle classes will be four this year. These are cars pre 1976, cars post 1976, all large vehicles and all three wheelers/motor bikes. All cars and large vehicles will be £5 to book and three wheelers/motor bikes will be £3

For both the pre and post 1976 classes the judges will award commendation plaques for the best car in the class, the best luxury car, the best sports car, and the best saloon car. For M/Cs the judges will award plaques for the best M/C, the best superbike, and the best three wheeler. For the large vehicles, judges will award plaques for the best large vehicle, the most novel large vehicle, and the best military/blue light vehicle

This year all vehicles will have to be pre-booked using the event management system link – although you will be able to book on the day before arrival at the field, provided we are not over-booked.

To enable field layout planning the cut-off date for those wishing to be judged or to be included within a group is midnight on 21 August. Vehicles booked after 21 August will not be able to be judged, nor allocated a space within a club grouping. Do note that the system does not have the ability to book several places – each entry has to be done individually.

As usual, there will be amusements, attractions and stalls selling various merchandise and products as well as catering stands and a fully licensed bar
