CLASSICS AT PRESCOTT' OPEN HILL CLIMB EVENT 9/10 MAY 2020

Winchcombe and Cheltenham Cleeve Vale Rotary Clubs invite classic car owners to an event to be held on the weekend of 9th and 10th May 2020. The event is open to all vehicles over 25 years old but exceptions may be made at the discretion of the organisers for particularly interesting younger vehicles.

Sunday 10th will be devoted to display and driving the famous hill, with passengers if you wish, in marshalled but un-timed runs. Un-timed runs eliminate the need for crash helmets and the full gamut of safety equipment etc. However vehicles must be road legal i.e. taxed and insured. A Paddock entry donation of £60 per vehicle covers 2 runs up the hill, all passengers and a souvenir programme. Entries will be limited to 200 cars. Any additional runs available will be offered to paddock entrants, for further donations.

As before, we will also be having a static display in designated areas for classic, vintage and special vehicles. For those who wish to partake, we will also be repeating the gentle cavalcades up the hill so that vehicles can be displayed in motion to the attending public. We feel this significantly enhances the presentation of the superb range of vehicles expected. A Static entry donation of £15 per car, covers all passengers, a free programme and a cavalcade drive up the hill. Block bookings by Clubs will be particularly welcome and we will endeavour to park such groups together.

On Saturday 9th we are offering a tour of the Cotswolds. The route will start at Prescott and take in approximately 80 miles of the counties finest scenery. It will visit a suitable venue along the route to take in some refreshment and meet your fellow tourers. An entry donation of £20 covers the tour and a souvenir tour brochure

Spectators will be welcome on the Sunday, with a suggested donation to our charities of £15 per car (including parking and all passengers) payable in advance or on the day.

RotaryRotaryAll profits will go to Charities supported by Rotary and in order to maximise this, we are asking for your cooperation, where appropriate, to gift aid your payments so that we can reclaim tax.

Alex particularly liked being able to sit in all the cars at the end and practise doing some driving himself. He’s a little petrol head and gets a lot of support from Challengers and this was a very special day out for him.” – Phil Wright, Challengers Parent and participant

24 haselmereJoin us at the 12th Haslemere Classic Car Show and Tour. To be held on Sunday 24 May 2020 and open to all pre-1980 type cars.
Entries are now open for the 2020 Haslemere Classic Car Show and Tour. Our updated website is now live and has all the information and booking forms you need for this years event.
Both the show and tour are open to all pre-1980 type vehicles, if you are unsure if your vehicle is eligible please contact us to check. The show is FREE to enter but due to space restrictions all vehicles must have pre-booked and been sent a unique numbered pass to gain access to the Green.

The tour is more popular every year and numbers are strictly limited. Get your booking forms and payment back asap to avoid disappointment. The Tour entry also gives you a space on the Green for the show so you don't need to fill in a seperate show form. The costs of running the tour have risen over the last few years and so unfortunately we have had to increase the cost of the entry.

Please make sure you enter and pay for the number of passengers you will have in your car for the tour.
The show and tour is run entirely by volunteers, as a community event and supports the Haslemere Festival (Charity No. 1104757).
