Classic Car and Bike Meet, Nothamptonshire

Now in its ninth year, the Classic Car and Bike Meet is usually held on the first Wednesday of every month (May to September) and in 2019 on Sunday 19 May. But due to the varying weather conditions, we always recommend you check our Latest Events page before coming along. We do our best not to cancel or postpone, but the ground has to be suitable. You'll find us at the Earls Barton Showground (NN6 0EP), just off junction 10 of the A45 between Northampton and Wellingborough. It's a great way

of whiling away a few hours; we look forward to seeing you there.

Breaking News
We will be open from Saturday the 4th of July.
At the Ace Cafe London our guest safety has always been our first priority ! During the month of June our ACE team has completed a series of training courses specific to Covid-19. We have followed Government guidelines at all times and we have set the highest possible standards. As the government is cautiously releasing the lock-down we are ready to welcome you back.
During the month of July our opening times will ONLY be from 8.00am to 5.00pm every day. This will obviously affect our scheduled meets which will NOT take  place for  the month of July.
Parking for motorcycles and cars will still be available, during opening times.
Thank you for your continued support.
See you at the Ace!

The Four Counties Classic (FCC) is a free gathering for all pre-1990 classic cars. The gatherings take place from 9am to noon on the first and third Saturdays of every month throughout the year at Botley Hill Farmhouse, an early 16th century country inn on Limpsfield Road, Warlingham, Surrey CR6 9QH. This is 3 miles south of Warlingham on the B269. For those who need sustenance, Botley Hill Farmhouse serves breakfast from 9.30am.

The event is a static gathering in the midst of some some wonderful driving roads though the scenic North Downs. When the weather is kind we often have as many as 130 cars in attendance. One reason for the success of the gathering is its geographical location close to the borders between four counties. We have regular members who come from Surrey, Greater London, Kent and Sussex. There are probably more classic cars in these four counties than anywhere else in the country - if not the world.

Classic Cars at Lions Swanmore Fete – Saturday 17th July 2019

The Meon Valley Lions Club (MVLC) are once again organising the Swanmore Fete lion logoThose of you who have joined us at the Car Show before will know that it is a largely informal part of the programme where local enthusiasts parade their cars in a short tour of the village and them exhibit them at the Fete itself.

Our alliance with ‘SILVERLAKE AUTOMOTIVE RECYCLING’, and ‘CHASE CARS’ thrives as they continue as Event Sponsors.

As in previous years there will be a prizes for ‘Best in Show’ and for ‘Highly Commended’ chosen by ‘Silverlake Automotive Recycling’, and for Best Mini in Show by ‘Chase Cars’

There is no entry fee and there is no cost to participate although you may wish to donate some money to the charities represented on the day.

We realise that in showing off your car is a weather dependent, so whilst there is no commitment from you for attending, we’d be grateful for an idea of the number of cars to expect.  To that end, would you email fetecars@meonvalleylionsclub.org.uk

to register your interest in attending.

An Announcement from Wiston Steam Rally (11th – 12th July 2020)

Due to the on-going Covid-19 Global pandemic and the continuing impact that this is              having in our lives, the committee of theWistonSteamRally(Sussex Steam Shows              LTD) consider the safety and wellbeing of all of our supporters to be paramount and               have taken the decision to postpone our 2020 10th Anniversary event.

We have delayed making this announcement for as long as feasible, and have             continuously monitored the Government and Public Health England’s advice in the           hope that there would be a possibility of adapting our plans to have an event this                year. However, with the Government’s suggestion that social distancing will continue           for some time yet and no firm commitment as to when the restriction on large               gatherings will be lifted, postponement is the inevitable conclusion.

On a brighter note, plans are already underway for 2021 and our 10th Anniversary Wiston Steam Rally which we hope will be our biggest and best to date. If you have received an entry form for 2020 - please continue to send these in as we intend to roll these over for our 2021 event and you will only need to contact us if any details change for you between now and then.

In addition, we will be hosting the first Virtual Wiston Steam Rally over the weekend of 11th July – 12th July 2020 to maintain our support of our nominated charity SERV Sussex (bloodrunners) who are currently working hard within the crisis response, providing a frontline volunteer service carrying blood and Covid-19 tests to hospitals nationwide.

We will be posting videos and photos from the last nine years of Wiston Steam Rally across social media.  We are also encouraging our exhibitors and visitors and anyone else to share their own videos and photos and we invite everyone who has enjoyed Wiston through the years to donate to SERV via our Localgiving page www.localgiving.org/fundraising/virtualwistonsteamrally . More information is at www.sussexsteamrally.co.uk/virtual-wiston-steam-rally

We thank you for your understanding and support, we wish you and your loved ones the very best of health. We look forward to reuniting with you on our 10th Anniversary, 10th  & 11th July 2021.

The quintessential motorcycle autojumble in the UK. There is no better place to get THE BEST classic motorcycles and parts anywhere on these shores. Some traders only use these magnificent seven events to sell their wares! The May and December events also encompass a full bike show involving clubs and private entries and even more space. Disposable income just isn't a problem with this audience, where quality really does matter!
18 Formerly The Wöldinghamring classic

DATE CONFIRMED FOR LANDMARK 30th ANNIVERSARY SILVERSTONE CLASSIC

• Next summer’s Silverstone Classic verified for 31 July- 2 August
• Special anniversary three-day festival all set to be the best ever
• Packed retro race programme features cream of international historic racing action
• Two more great crowd-pleasing grids confirmed for 2020
• Feast of off-track activities and entertainment for families of all ages
• Super Early Bird tickets still available… but only until the end of December

With the British Grand Prix at Silverstone now rubber stamped for Sunday 19 July, the Silverstone Classic can officially take its traditional place in the calendar a fortnight after Formula One headlines at the home of British motor racing.
Taking place at the start of the summer holidays, the hugely-popular three-day Classic is expecting over 100,000 attendees plus a star-studded line-up of drivers – more so having avoided date clashes with other high-profile UK motor sport events such as the British Touring Car Championship and FIA Formula E’s intriguing London E-Prix.
What’s more, though tickets have been on sale since October, festival-goers who were waiting for a verified date can still take advantage of the Super Early Bird offer available until the end of December.
Full information about the 2020 Silverstone Classic entertainment programme – including more exciting new races, special car club celebrations and live music performers – will be announced in the coming months. All the latest news will be available at silverstoneclassic.com and via its social media platforms.
