In the paddock & car park lots of classic/vintage road vehicles, stationary engines, tractors and/or just about anything interesting that moves and/or turns up on the day. Exhibitors welcome. There is no entry charge but a voluntary collection for the pub's charity will be made.

A wonderful relaxed atmosphere with the chance to wonder round the exhibits sampling a pint of one of the pub's selection of real ales, something from the barbecue or enjoy one of the pub's excellent home cooked meals.

The FCC (Four Counties Classic) will continue to meet on the first and third Saturdays of every month in 2024:

The FCC (Four Counties Classic) is a free gathering for all pre-1990 classic cars.

The gatherings take place from 9am to noon on the first and third Saturdays of every month throughout the year at The Bletchingley Arms, 2 High St, Bletchingley, Surrey RH1 4PE

For those who need sustenance, The Bletchingley Arms serves breakfast between 9.30am and 10.30am.

The event is a static gathering in the midst of some wonderful driving roads though the scenic North Downs. When the weather was kind, prior to the lock-downs we often had as many as 130 cars in attendance. One reason for the success of the gathering is its geographical location close to the borders between four counties. We have regular members who come from Surrey, Greater London, Kent and Sussex. There are probably more classic cars in these four counties than anywhere else in the country (and therefore the world).

The PATINA Classic Car Show 

is a celebration of all our beloved unrestored classic and vintage cars. It is a festival for the unpresentable cars we love and drive regularly. PATINA features the beautifully preserved cars that have never been restored and also the regularly used classics that ooze with patina and character. Even those cars that are limping along and held together by hope and love are welcome.

Warning: This is NOT a concourse event. There will be greasy engine bays. It is recommended you not wear white linen. Instead, grab a pair of overalls and join the party in the beautiful setting of Lullingstone Castle.

You are encouraged to bring a blanket and hamper and have a relaxing picnic.

Awards will be given for Best Preserved, Least Likely to Get Home, Most Elaborate Picnic, and Most In Need of a Polish.

PATINA IS FOR EVERYONE. Restored cars are also welcome. There is a big display for restored cars on the meadow next to the main house inside the walled gardens of Lullingstone Castle.

The Clifford Holder Classic Tour 

will be held on Sunday 18 August.  This Tour will take you on a scenic tour of Somerset of approximately 70 miles.  The start of the tour, in Weston-super-Mare – is at Marchfields Way Weston Retail Park, Unit D, Weston-super-Mare BS23 3YZ at Fins' Burger Van, meeting at 8.30am.  Enrants will be able to obtain breakfast from Fin's Burger Van up until 10am.  The Tour will finish at The Full Quart, Hewish. 

 The event is open to vintage, classic, sports and 'supersports' cars.

Barnaby's Coffee, Shop in Swanmore plays host to classic cars once a month through the Spring and Summer. All cars over 30 years old may attend, and there are often as many as 50 cars at each event. It is supported by Barnaby's "popup" coffee shop, serving coffee, tea and yummy homemade cakes made by our friends at Bishops Waltham Country Market. Barnaby's will nominate a charity on the day, and all the proceeds will go to that charity.
