Four countiesThe FCC (Four Counties Classic) will continue to meet on the first and third Saturdays of every month in 2023:

The FCC (Four Counties Classic) is a free gathering for all pre-1990 classic cars.

The gatherings take place from 9am to noon on the first and third Saturdays of every month throughout the year at The Bletchingley Arms, 2 High St, Bletchingley, Surrey RH1 4PE

For those who need sustenance, The Bletchingley Arms serves breakfast between 9.30am and 10.30am.

The event is a static gathering in the midst of some wonderful driving roads though the scenic North Downs. When the weather was kind, prior to the lock-downs we often had as many as 130 cars in attendance. One reason for the success of the gathering is its geographical location close to the borders between four counties. We have regular members who come from Surrey, Greater London, Kent and Sussex. There are probably more classic cars in these four counties than anywhere else in the country (and therefore the world).

CLASSICS AT PRESCOTT' HILL CLIMB EVENT 13th/14th MAY 2023

Winchcombe Rotary Club invites classic car owners to our iconic event at the Bugatti Club which is open to all vehicles over 25 years old – BUT exceptions may be made at the discretion of the organisers for particularly interesting younger vehicles.

Sunday 14th will be devoted to driving the famous hill, with passengers if you wish, in marshalled but un-timed runs. Un-timed runs eliminate the need for crash helmets and the full gamut of safety equipment etc. However, vehicles must be road legal i.e., taxed and insured. A Paddock entry donation of £65 per vehicle covers 2 runs up the hill, all passengers and a souvenir programme. Entries will be limited to 200 cars. Any additional runs available will be offered to paddock entrants, for further donations.

Spectators very welcome, as always – entry is £20 per car to include all of its passengers.

As before, we will also be having a static display in designated areas for classic, vintage and special vehicles. We feel this significantly enhances the presentation of the superb range of vehicles expected. A Static entry donation of £20 per car, covers all passengers and a free programme. Block bookings by Clubs will be particularly welcome and we will endeavour to park such groups together.

On Saturday 13th we are offering another tour of the Cotswolds. The route will start near Prescott and take in approximately 70 miles of the county's finest scenery. It will visit a suitable venue along the route to take in some refreshment and meet your fellow tourers. An entry donation of £25 covers the tour and a souvenir tour brochure.

Wallingford 1

Wallingford Car Show

n the historic town of Wallingford, this regular event for the town's calendar is open to all classic, custom and interesting vehicles from bicycles to tanks.

First, the vehicles tour through the town in convoy. This alone is an event in itself. The streets are lined with spectators, children pointing and smiling in wonderment, drivers waving, a sea of shining chrome and pleasingly eclectic paint hues glimmering as they drive by in the summer sun. The locals love it, with many households bringing the garden furniture to the front of the house for a comfortable seat. It's happy, it's fun. We like that.

Every year in February, the tickets to take part in the parade and park on the Kinecroft sell out in record time – 250 in less than 20 minutes! But, if you would like to see these vehicles in person, there is nothing stopping you coming along on foot.
Hundreds of cars attend, with little regard given to any sort of trend or following. If you want to see a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air parked behind a 2CV, this is the show. Big Americans, traditional Brit classics from Austin and Triumph et al, modern classics, super cars, a military tracked tank and even a car boot, we have it all.

There are stalls and food vendors for everyone to enjoy and an incredible selection of all manner of classic motors. A fun, light, happy day out, this event is perhaps the perfect example of what a classic car show should be.

Local companies, like the excellent Porsche specialist, Wrightune, host stands and showcase impressive metal for people to look at in awe. Something, truly, for everyone.
The Sporting Bears are also on hand, offering passenger rides in an array of classic metal in return for charity donations.

IMG 20221022_105853Barnaby's Coffee Shop in Swanmore plays host to classic cars once a month through the Spring and Summer. All cars over 30 years old may attend, and there are often as many as 50 cars at each event. It is supported by Barnaby's "popup" coffee shop, serving coffee, tea and yummy homemade cakes made by our friends at Bishops Waltham Country Market. Barnaby's will nominate a charity on the day, and all the proceeds will go to that charity. We look forward to seeing you!
